Not all disinfectants are created equal. AVOTAB has a unique properties that make it greater biocidal action than hypochlorite (Bleach).
The active ingredient Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate (NaDCC), which is recommended by WHO, CDC, NHS, UNICEF & EPA to fight Coronavirus, SARS, MERS. When added to water, it releases hypochlorous acid (HOCL) for sanitizing and disinfection purposes. The chemistry and mode of action of AVOTAB produce a solution that is stable and long-lasting once diluted. Studies show that HOCL has 4 times the antimicrobial killing power of hypochlorite (-OCL).

Hypochlorite, Ionized –OCl cannot cross the microbial membrane and has shown poor germicidal activity. HOCl is very similar to the water molecule allowing it to easily penetrate through the negatively charged cell wall. Once the HOCl enters the microorganism, it destroys the nucleus of the cell completing the disinfection process.
